Today's Reading Assignments

Solid advice on what we should be doing in Iraq--and what we've learned so far--courtesy of Eric Egland, Fred Kagan, and Josh Manchester, all published at the Daily Standard.

It would be nice if the Baker Commission sought input from each of these gentlemen before making its final recommendations.

Do you really have hopes for the Baker Commission?

When the moon is in the seventh house and Baker aligns with Kerry then peace will guide the planets and love will steer the stars.

Short answer: No. The Baker Commission is nothing more than a political ploy to provide bi-partisan "cover" for our retreat from Iraq.
