Ground Truth
An excellent op-ed in today's Washington Post (hard to believe, I know) from a Marine Corps officer, heading for his third tour in Iraq. Major Ben Connable says there is justifiable reason for optimism in Iraq, despite what we hear from the MSM. As he notes, it's easy for skeptics to dismiss reports of progress from civilian leaders and senior Pentagon officials. It's much more difficult to ignore those claims from officers and NCOs who see progress, first-hand, on the ground.
