Then someone puts in an amendment making the military pay increase larger, and it passes because our men and women in uniform deserve it. Then a congressman from Maryland or Virginia puts in an amendment giving the same increase to civil servants, and it passes because it's only fair.<br /><br />So restricting military pay increases will also restrict civil service pay increases (or they'll have to make up a new game to play).
