The fact that his idiot act and that of others like him continues to be broadcast is testatment to the lack of civility and respect the broadcast suits have for the rest of us. To them, we are herds of statistics to be manipulated by the lowest and cheapest means, i.e., carnality--sex and violence, adrenaline. When was the last time a broadcaster (or their talking head) voiced appreciation for viewers "inviting them into their homes", like Red Skelton and Jackie Gleason did at the close of their shows (I'm that old--damn!). It is disgusting that people like Imus and Stern have such loud voices, but it is even worse that real a real racist and criminal (fraud and incitement are crimes), like Sharpton, is given any pulpit at all. The suits need to ask themselves if they want their parents, children, and grandchildren watching/hearing the stuff they put on the air. Do they want their daughters referred to as "nappy headed hos?" Do they want their families to live in a society influenced by the idiotic inflamatory rhetoric of Sharpton?jamminedwardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11645642564040670850noreply@blogger.com
