I hope the US gov is not so focused on the up coming elections and credit bail out crisis that they would not take advantage of an opportunity to do a little international preventative maintenance.Tom Leonard Srhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02321275091724034462noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10820485.post-26390710943324736482008-09-30T08:57:00.000-04:002008-09-30T08:57:00.000-04:00Is there an update to this story? For the non-initiated: "Green" fuel (before exposure to a reactor), yellowcake and weapons grade radioactive material can all be handled without extra shielding. One encounters deadly dose rates with exposure to fission products (nuclear waste) such as Cs-137 and Sr-90. If there are nuclear weapons aboard this craft, the pirates were exposed to the same level of a chest X-ray. If there were deadly levels of radioactivity aboard, why would the Russians ship nuclear waste to Africa? This sounds more like a chemical or toxin exposure. Time will tell as we get more data.arlington heweshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00716905502940588529noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10820485.post-50416917343516576262008-09-26T17:39:00.000-04:002008-09-26T17:39:00.000-04:00This comment has been removed by the author.Tayyab Khanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16211902612657169804noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10820485.post-16084037587322891182008-09-26T15:24:00.000-04:002008-09-26T15:24:00.000-04:00A mere hundred pirates?Should be no problem for th...A mere hundred pirates?

Should be no problem for the US Navy, if they decide that they want what's in that vessel.

It's certainly a mystery.TheNewGuyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13951421098347439104noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10820485.post-26833549011763360952008-09-25T23:27:00.000-04:002008-09-25T23:27:00.000-04:00Compare the pirates' symptoms to Alexander Litvine...Compare the pirates' symptoms to Alexander Litvinenko's.
